Prof. De-Cheng Feng from Southeast University (Nanjing, China) has been awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers. He will join the Institute for Risk and Reliability to collaborate with the team of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Beer.
"Together, we will research the fundamentals of infrastructure resilience and maintenance,” explains Prof. Michael Beer. “In particular, we are concentrating on defining optimal strategies for the maintenance of bridges under the dynamically changing influences of climate change."
