Purpose for data processing

The purpose of the requested data in the registration mask is the organisation of the graduation ceremony. For this purpose, it is also necessary to send you important information on participation by e-mail. In addition, we would like to point out that photographs will be taken during the event for documentation and will be published on this website (www.fbg.uni-hannover.de) .

Legal grounds for data processing

The legal basis for the processing of your data that you provide during the registration process is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b) DSGV0. For photos for the documentation of the event, the legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. e), Abs. 3 DSGV0, § 3 NDSG, § 3 Nr. 10 NHG.

Obligation to provide personal data

You are not obliged to provide personal data, but we can only process your registration if you provide us with the designated data.

Storage period

The data will be stored on servers at Leibniz University Hannover and deleted no later than three months after the event. Photographs taken for the external presentation will be deleted in accordance with the statutory retention periods or in the event of a revocation/right of objection.
